Wahida’s Therapeutic Work

Wahida has been an occupational therapist since 1988. She worked at UC Davis Medical Center until 2003 when she began to pursue a career in combining her medical knowledge with the movement arts of Pilates, GYROTONIC® Method, and Franklin Method®. Her curiosity of the body and her own healing processes lead her back to her medical roots to explore various treatment modalities including Visceral Manipulation (VM) and Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT) and Osteopathy. She studied with the Barral Institute for visceral manipulation, John Iams, PT for PRRT and at the Canadian School of Osteopathy Manual Practice for osteopathy.

Wahida has completed 5 years of study at the Canadian School of Osteopathy – Manual Practice in Vancouver BC in 2018.  This program honed her skills in the precise evaluation of the human body to assess the relationships that exist within the musculoskeletal system, the organs, the fluids, the cranial sacral system and the nervous system.

Wahida has completed the following post grad courses:  Endo-Cranial Spasm 1 and 2 with Phillipe Druelle, DO and Genevieve Foget, DO, Mechanical Link with Hélène Loiselle, DO, and Breath of Life with Phillipe Druelle, DO and is currently working on her thesis proposal.
